Homemade Granola

Another favorite breakfast of mine is Greek yoghurt with granola. As storebought granola is full of sugar I always make this myself. I have tried several ways to get it the way I want it to be and finally created my own sugarfree version. Simple, quick and healthy, that’s my cup of tea (or breakfast..)

 
 

Recipe Homemade Sugarfree Granola

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: approx. 300 grams

Recipe Homemade Sugarfree Granola

Ingredients:

  • 100 gr oats
  • 75 gr soaked raisins
  • 75 gr mixed nuts (roughly chopped)
  • 25 grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp sunflower- or pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seed
  • 3 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 60 ml melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and knead by hand until you've created clumps (or any shape you want it).
  4. Bake for approx. 15-20 minutes (IMPORTANT! Stir every 5 minutes) till slightly browned.
