Chocolate Pear Loaf

Chocolate Pear Loaf

For a long time already I had plans to prepare this loaf but every time something came in between or at the decisive moment there were no pears in the house. Finally, this weekend, in between all the busy work I was struggling with, I had a moment of piece to prepare it. I deliberately had bought a large quantity of ripe pears on the market so I had more or less obliged myself to go and work on it. The loaf now adorns my kitchen and I must say it was worth the wait!!

This sugar-free loaf makes a wonderful breakfast but can also be enjoyed as a snack. Deliciously spread with a dollop of jam or just plain. Prepared without butter and yet moisty. Yummy, can I have another bite please!!
